THE SAFECO HOUSE

History of a creative house

In the 1990s, Safeco specialized in the creation and manufacturing of exquisite Jacquard fabrics for furniture. Rajaï SAFADI, based in Gillonay, Isère region, expertly oversaw the looms at his factory and played a crucial role in conducting operations. Meanwhile, his son Ezzat, based in Marseille, was dedicated to driving the commercial development of the company. Starting as weavers of unbleached damask Jacquards, the father-son duo wasted no time in upgrading their factory and products with sophisticated techniques. Their collections expanded to include piqués and colored fabrics with multiple warps and wefts, further enriching their already impressive range of offerings.

SAFECO WORKSHOPS

French weaving

SAFECO boasts a fully integrated production facility comprising its own weaving factory, 'Tissages Safadi Rhodaniens', a dyeing plant, and a design studio. With over fifty weaving looms, the facility enables the French manufacture of high-quality jacquard fabrics while preserving a fiercely protected 'in-house' know-how.
